Why use a sauna hat?

Think of your Noggin as a thermal shield for the most temperature sensitive part of your body. By insulating your head, you stay cooler for longer allowing you to enjoy longer sauna sessions. It also protects your hair from drying out and keeps your ears from burning in intense heat.

 

ABOUT THE NOGGINS

What material do you use?

Our Noggins are handcrafted from premium 100% wool felt. We’ve selected a 3mm thickness because it provides the ideal thermal barrier, insulating your head and ears for a more comfortable sauna session.

Are your Noggins OEKO-TEX® certified?

Yes. To ensure your wellness ritual is as pure as possible, every Noggin is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified. This means our wool is free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for your skin even in the highest temperatures.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How do I clean my Noggin?

Your Noggin is a living fiber. After every session, simply rinse it with cool water and let it air dry in a warm environment. Wool is naturally antimicrobial, so it doesn't need much—just a little fresh air and water.

Can it go in the washing machine?

Never. The heat and agitation of a machine will felt the wool further, causing your Noggin to shrink. To keep the perfect fit, stick to a gentle hand-wash. 

What if my Noggin needs a repair?

A: We believe in keeping Noggins in the sauna, not the landfill. If a stitch comes loose or your hat needs some love, email us at admin@nordicnoggin.ca. We’ll provide a pre-paid shipping label, hand-mend your hat, and return it to you refreshed, free of charge.
