Sauna Hat Sizing: How to Find Your Fit

A sauna hat should feel like it belongs on your head - snug enough to stay put, relaxed enough to forget about. Here is how to find your size.

Measure your head

Wrap a soft tape measure around your head, just above your eyebrows and ears, where the hat will sit. Note the number in centimetres. No tape measure? A string and a ruler works just as well.

Match your number to a size

The Classic Noggin comes in three sizes:

S: 52-56cm
M: 57-61cm
L: 62-66cm

The King and Knight come in one size, fitting heads up to 61cm.

Between sizes?

Think about your hair. If you wear long hair up in the sauna, the extra room of the larger size is usually more comfortable. If your hair is short, the smaller size will sit more securely.

How it should feel

A good fit covers your ears, does not squeeze your temples, and does not slip over your eyes when you tilt your head forward. Wool felt has a little give and settles in with wear, so a slightly snug fit on day one is fine.
